Knowledge of benefits of Leasing, capable of putting together pricing, and features of our equipment, knowledge of pricing and features of competitive equipment, understanding of rental, purchase, lease and cost per copy strategies.
Able to analyze business potential, aware of account activities, sets realistic goals and objectives; manages time efficiently. Administers Signs Copy base management program, target account program
Cold calls new business; use of mailing and sales support materials; use of telephone; solicits referrals; follow-up on leads; maintenance or organized, prioritized prospect file with up-to-date account information; arranges appointments for presentations, demonstrations, etc.
Identifies the proper decision maker and the accounts potential; selects support and/or competitive materials appropriate to the specific needs of the prospect.
Objectives set and account commitment obtained; use of probing; use of feature/benefit; objection handling/ closing; follow-up - needs satisfaction concept.
Demo equipment prepared properly; demonstration contains: benefit statement, objective selling, statement of features, expansion of benefits, customer needs identified, product knowledge, verbal skills, creativity, customer involvement, summary and close. Use of support tools, flip charts and overhead projector, etc.
Order forms, lease applications, credit information and commission statements are complete and accurate and turned in on time. Time commitment to customers is realistic and honored. Required reports submitted in a timely and complete manner, demo equipment and supplies utilized properly.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Proposes the proper solutions to customer by integrating Canon technologies to include the appropriate front-end solutions, connectivity and hardware.
Proactively develops new customer contacts, reviews leads, protects territory and participates in increasing revenue stream within current accounts. Actively participates in account reviews.
Works well as a team to coordinate the necessary resources to respond to major corporations, vertical markets (e.g. Legal) or a professional institution and exhibits leadership qualities to effectively direct people and projects.
Meets or exceeds revenue and gross profit expectations.
Promotes products and represents the company at off-site customer meetings.
Maintains records of all account activity within sales database.
Maintains contact lists for each account.
Serves as first line of contact with customers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Certifications)
4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
At least 2 years of business-to-business successful account management and account development experience.
